Veterans Stadium was built in 1970 as a multi-sport stadium to house the Philadelphia Phillies and Eagles. Located in South Philadelphia and surrounded by parking lots, it was the modern successor to Shibe Park and Franklin Field. For over 30 years, fans packed into the coleseum-like stadium with the most notorious "boo-birds" occupying the infamous 700 Level at the top. The artwork is designed by Philadelphia artist Jon Billet and is printed on "envy green" colored Next Level tri-blend shirts (50% Polyester, 25% Cotton, and 25% Rayon). This shirt is also available in a men's style. |
