The Philadelphia Wings are easily one of the most successful indoor lacrosse teams ever. A fan favorite, the team regularly hosted over 10,000 spectators at the Spectrum and Core States Center (now Wells Fargo Center). The name actually covers three franchises - the original team (1974–75), the one everyone loved (1987–2014) which relocated to New England, and the newly relaunched Wings owed by Comcast (2018-present). |
